SECURE TEMP® ASHT+ FOR CANADA
APPLICATIONS
The Secure Temp ASHT+ is one of the most extensively used factory-built venting systems in North America. It has been specially developed for use with oil- and gas-burning heating appliances and certified wood-burning fireplaces. The Secure Temp ASHT+ high-temperature chimney is certified by Intertek Testing (Warnock Hersey) to ULC-S604 standards and ULC-S610 (on wood-burning fireplaces) for all diameters of 5, 6, 7, 8 and 10 inches.
CERTIFICATION
The Secure Temp ASHT+ high-temperature chimney is certified by Intertek Testing (Warnock Hersey) to:
ULC-S604 standards for all diameters of 5, 6, 7, 8, and 10 inches.
ULC-S610 (on wood-burning fireplaces) for all diameters of 5, 6, 7, 8 and 10 inches.
ULC-S629 for wood stove applications in diameters of 6, 7, and 8 inches.
INSTALLATION
Assembly always requires the male coupler to be positioned upwards. Size the chimney in accordance with the appliance instruction manual. Map out the chimney path closest to the heating unit.
For wood stove applications, a third pipe (premium shield) is required for inside installation where the chimney is enclosed between two floors (see premium shield accessories section). Prior to installation, consult the detailed installation manual included with the support components.
SAFETY
Security Chimneys’s Secure Temp ASHT+ chimneys can be installed as close as 2 inches to combustible materials, regardless of the diameter to be used. Radiation shields and appropriate supports must be used to maintain a safe clearance as the chimney passes through floors and combustible partitions.
Some radiation shields in the Secure Temp ASHT+ line have been designed specifically for use with wood-burning fireplaces. For the use of Secure Temp ASHT+ with manufactured wood fireplaces, refer to the instruction of these products.

SECURE BLACK® DL
The Secure Black Double Wall (DL) stove pipe from Security Chimneys is tested to 2100°F and listed as 6” clearance from combustible materials for all types of wood-burning stoves. The double wall black stove connector features a series of openings, allowing for maximum recovery of heat from flue gases.

With the Secure Black™ Double Wall (DL) pipe, Security Chimneys has designed a product that has been successfully tested to 2100°F at a 6-inch clearance from combustible materials. This level of safety delivers the peace of mind your customers demand. Temperature rating
of 1000°F Max continuous; 1400°F brief forced fired; and 2100°F 30 minutes tested.
The inner liner is made of corrosion-resistant stainless steel, helping to deliver better protection of the exterior finish. The outer wall features a series of openings that allow for maximum recovery of heat from the flue gases. In fact, it is almost as efficient as a single wall black pipe.
DESIGNED FOR INSTALLATION EASE
The Security Double Wall black stove pipe can be safely installed as close as 6 inches to combustible materials, providing greater installation flexibility. Furthermore, it may be used with all types of stoves and is available in diameters of 6, 7 and 8 inches.
To simplify installation, Security Chimneys has designed a telescopic double wall black pipe, which extends from 3-1/2 feet to 5-1/2 feet. There is no need to determine the number of lengths required and no need for cutting—it will adjust to your application.
